Festival
Of Choirs
Ambitious yet unique event, the Festival of Choirs is held on the 1st of August every year at the Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour, Bauddaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7.
The aim of the event is to use the talents of our people to praise God through music. It’s an occasion for choirs from schools and Churches to come together to glorify God. It is an opportunity to use choral pieces that are based on words of Scripture thereby enhancing the knowledge of Scripture among our youth.
This year too the choirs from leading schools and from different Churches will participate at this Festival on 1st August at 5.30 p.m. at the same venue. This event is organized by the Women’s Committee of the Ceylon Bible Society.
