The Bible Quiz is organized by the Bible Quiz Board of Sri Lanka.  CBS together with the National Council of the YWCA’s and CAVEL Evangelical Library are the chief sponsors.  The office bearers for 2006 were - Patron - Mr. Elmo Wijesinghe, Chairman - Mr. S. G. Samuel, Vice Chairpersons - Mrs. Lakshani Fernando (CBS) and Mr. S. Vijayakulasingham (YMCA), Secretary - Mr. Nilhan Niles, and Treasurer - Mr. Malcolm Peter.  Mr. Sisira Silva and for August 2006 Miss. Pathumi Narayanan have been in charge of duplicating the Question Lists through the CBS. 

Competitions were held in 11 zones and 16 teams participated.  The Final Competition was held at Methodist College and the Methodist Church, Colombo 03, on the 2006.

The dates for 2007 of the competition will be notified later
